FENRICK × Nectar — Styling and Stage Identity (Y2K)
Over a period similar to the work carried out with Odymel, Nectar developed a long‑term styling collaboration with FENRICK. The project evolved directly inside the store, through regular selections and an ongoing dialogue about his image. It was built to adapt to his needs over time, whether for gigs, stage performances, content creation, or photoshoots.
A direction that respects identity
The intention mirrored the approach taken with Odymel: to offer a coherent clothing direction while preserving the artist’s authenticity. The difference lay in the aesthetic. FENRICK carries a more Y2K‑driven universe, more fashion‑forward, more graphic, with its own energy and codes.
The styling work aimed to strengthen a recognisable silhouette, remain faithful to his natural style, and introduce strong, high‑quality pieces suited for stage and image. The goal was never to disguise or rebrand him, but to refine what was already there.
A process built on consistency and adaptability
Nectar handled the sourcing and selection of garments, focusing on the right cuts, the right materials, and the overall balance of the wardrobe. The work unfolded across three formats, echoing the structure used with Odymel.
There was the general styling direction, which shaped a coherent wardrobe over a period of time. There were punctual selections, adapted to specific gigs or immediate needs. And there were more precise looks developed for photoshoots, where the image required a sharper, more intentional construction.
Alongside this, Nectar provided on‑stage support through visual documentation, including analogue photography. These images captured the energy of the live moment and the presence of the silhouette in real conditions, adding a layer of authenticity to the styling work.
A wardrobe elevated without distortion
Throughout the collaboration, FENRICK wore pieces sourced by Nectar on stage, in content and photoshoots, and in more spontaneous moments. His visual coherence remained intact. The project helped structure and elevate his wardrobe while staying true to his identity and his natural way of dressing.
A living approach to styling
This project reflects a key aspect of Nectar’s approach to styling: a form of accompaniment rather than transformation. The work is built around the artist, his references, and his stage presence. It also demonstrates Nectar’s ability to adapt its selections to different universes, in this case a Y2K‑oriented aesthetic, while maintaining the same level of coherence, quality, and precision.
