Odymel × Nectar — Styling and Stage Identity

The collaboration began in 2024 inside the Nectar store, built around an ongoing styling partnership with the artist Odymel. Over the course of roughly a year and a half, Nectar supported him in shaping his silhouettes for both live performances and visual projects.

Odymel would regularly stop by the store. Together, we selected pieces he would take with him for gigs, shoots, or specific moments. Depending on the context, the work shifted between spontaneous choices and more targeted selections. Sometimes it meant building a full styling direction for a series of dates. Other times, it meant crafting looks for a particular shoot or choosing a few key pieces for a precise moment.

Among these moments, Nectar provided clothing for a secret after‑party following the Voodoo Festival, as well as for a B2B set at Fuse with Emilia. For that occasion, graphic tiger‑printed T‑shirts were chosen to break away from more classic silhouettes and create a strong visual mark on stage.

These interventions were part of a long sequence of small, repeated gestures. Each one adapted to the context, the venue, the energy of the event. Together, they formed a continuous thread of stylistic support.

Strengthening an existing identity

The intention was never to transform or smooth out Odymel’s image. The goal was to reinforce what was already there. We worked to build a clothing identity that aligned naturally with his musical universe: vintage influences, cropped shirts, well‑cut trousers, strong outerwear, and, at times, more graphic or unexpected pieces such as football jerseys or bold visual tees.

Everything was designed to resonate with a hard‑techno environment without falling into caricature. The aim was to stay precise, credible, and true to his artistic direction.

A process rooted in sourcing and coherence

Nectar handled the entire sourcing process. The work focused on finding quality pieces, the right proportions, and silhouettes that felt balanced and readable. Each selection was built in direct relation to the context: stage, shoot, after‑party, or a specific performance.

The approach was simple but rigorous. It was about choosing the right garments, assembling them with intention, and ensuring that every look felt aligned with Odymel’s evolving identity.

A year and a half of silhouettes

For more than a year, Odymel wore Nectar both on stage and in images. His original style remained intact. Nothing was overwritten or diluted. The work consisted in accompanying and refining what already existed, adding strong pieces, quality brands, and beautiful textiles, while fully respecting the artistic direction of his musical project.

Many images from this collaboration can be found on Nectar’s Instagram, in tagged content, and within internal visual archives documenting shoots, gigs, and backstage moments.

A collaboration that shaped a presence

This project stands as a long‑term collaboration made of visible highlights and quieter, more discreet gestures. It naturally validated Nectar’s styling work, offering a strong embodiment of the brand through an artist in motion. For a time, Odymel became a natural figurehead for Nectar, expressing a vision of clothing as an extension of artistic identity.
